The Treasurer is responsible for the financial operations of the society, including record keeping, ensuring an annual audit of the financial statements, aid the executive in developing an annual budget, and ensuring payment of bills. As a member of the executive, the treasurer is expected to attend monthly executive meetings, the annual AGM, and any Board of Director meetings as required. Experience in basic bookkeeping or accounting is required.
The President is responsible for chairing all monthly executive meetings, annual AGM meetings, and any Board of Director meetings as required. In cooperation with the executive director, the president will make day-to-day decisions for the organization and act as the representative of the association where needed.
