2026-27 Season Update
13U-15U Teams
Player evaluations are now complete for 13U and 15U players and those selected to play on 'competitive' (i.e. Tiers 1-3 teams) have been notified. We thank all players and parents who took the time to attend the evaluations. All players not selected for competitive teams will be placed on community teams.
Practices
NEBA is currently waiting to receive a list of gyms and practice times from the City of Edmonton. Coaches will know their practice dates and times in early September.
Team Formation
Team lists will be released to coaches after the annual general meeting (AGM) and coaches meeting on September 17. Coaches will contact their teams after this date to communicate practice schedules and other information. Please wait to hear from coaches and only contact the Executive if you have not heard from your coach by September 20.
Schedule
EYBA league games will start the week of September 26. Schedules will be posted on the NEBA website and in the RAMP team app.
9U and 7U programs will start in early October with the exact date being based on gym availability.
AGM Reminder
This year's AGM and coaches meeting is being held on September 17 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Kingsway Legion. All coaches and team officials, as well as one parent or guardian from each family is required to attend the AGM, which will be held from 6:00-7:00 pm. As part of its AGM, NEBA is looking for volunteers to fill important positions on its Board. Coaches and team officials are also required to attend the coaches meeting from 7:00 to 9:00 pm immediately following the AGM.
